How do I withdraw crypto?

Withdrawing crypto to another crypto wallet

You can withdraw crypto to another crypto address by following these easy steps:

  1. Log onto your www.altcointrader.co.za account with your username or email address and your password.

  2. In the top menu, click on the "Withdrawal" menu button.

  3. On the Withdrawal page select the cryptocurrency option.

  4.  Select the cryptocurrency you would like to withdraw.

  5. Select the transfer network you would like to use for the withdrawal. Please make sure that the transfer network you select is supported on the receiving platform.

  6. Enter the crypto address and amount you would like to withdraw and press the "withdraw" button.

  7. Confirm the network you selected. If the network is correct, press the "Confirm" button. If the network is incorrect or you wish to select a different network, press the "Cancel" button and select the correct network.

  8. Confirm all the details of your withdrawal by pressing the "Confirm" button.

  9. The Travel Rule requires AltCoinTrader to collect additional information on all crypto transactions. Where requested, please select from the dropdown list and complete the information fully and accurately, then confirm that the information provided is correct.



  10. Confirm that the information provided is correct.


  11. If you have 2FA active on your account you will be prompted to enter a 2FA code and an email OTP, if you do not have 2FA active, an SMS will be sent with the OTP. Press the "SMS OTP' button.

  12. Press the "Request OTP" button, enter the OTP sent to the cellphone number registered to your AltCoinTrader account, and press the "Submit" button.

  13. Press the "Email OTP", press the "Request OTP" button, enter the OTP sent to the email address registered to your AltCoinTrader account, and press the "Submit" button.

  14. Once you have entered and confirmed both your OTPs, press the "Confirm" button.

  15. Confirm your withdrawal by pressing the "OK" button.

Tips and tricks when withdrawing Crypto

  • Complete your profile on the "Profile" page in order to allow you to make a withdrawal
  • ALWAYS make sure you have entered your correct crypto address details and memo tag if needed.
  • ALWAYS remember to click the withdrawal confirmation link sent to your email address to verify and confirm if you would like us to process the withdrawal.
  • Crypto withdrawal fees can be found on our fees page https://www.altcointrader.co.za/trading-fees
  • REMEMBER to send bitcoin or any other crypto to the correct address.
