How do I withdraw Rands from my account?

Withdrawing ZAR to your bank account

You can withdraw ZAR to your bank account by following these easy steps:

  1. Log into your www.altcointrader.co.za account with your username or email address and your password.

  2. In the top menu, click on the "Withdraw" menu button.

  3. On the Withdrawal page select the "South African Rands" option.

  4.  Select the "ZAR - Bank Withdrawals".

  5. If you have not entered your banking details on your profile page as yet, select the "Update your banking details" button to add or update your banking details.

  6. If you have entered your banking details on your profile page, enter the amount of Rands you would like to withdraw and press the "Withdraw ZAR" button

  7. Confirm all the details of your withdrawal by pressing the "Confirm" button.

  8. If you have 2FA active on your account you will be prompted to enter a 2FA code and an email OTP, if you do not have 2FA active, an SMS will be sent with the OTP. Press the "SMS OTP' button.

  9. Press the "Request OTP" button, enter the OTP sent to the cellphone number registered to your AltCoinTrader account, and press the "Submit" button.

  10. Press the "Email OTP", press the "Request OTP" button, enter the OTP sent to the email address registered to your AltCoinTrader account, and press the "Submit" button.

  11. Once you have entered and confirmed both your OTPs, press the "Confirm" button.

  12. Confirm your withdrawal by pressing the "OK" button.

Tips and tricks when withdrawing ZAR

  • Complete your profile on the "Profile" page in order to allow you to make a withdrawal
  • ALWAYS make sure you have entered your correct banking details.
  • It is VERY IMPORTANT to note after you click the "Update banking details" button you will have to wait 24 hours to make a withdrawal, as per our security precautions.
  • It is best to submit your withdrawal at least 30 minutes before the withdrawal times in order to secure your withdrawal gets processed.
  • We use Standard Bank to process the withdrawals.
  • ZAR withdrawal made to any other bank account other than the bank accounts we use may take up to 72 hours to be credited in your account depending on your bank.
