Withdrawing ZAR to Your Bank Account

You can withdraw South African Rands (ZAR) from your AltCoinTrader account to your registered bank account by following these simple steps:

  1.  Log in to your account at www.altcointrader.co.za using your email address and password.

  2. From the top menu, click Withdraw.

  3. On the withdrawal page, select South African Rands (ZAR).

  4. If you have not yet added a bank account, click + Add a Recipient, enter your banking details, and click Save.

  5. If you have already added one or more bank accounts, select the account you would like to withdraw your funds to.

  6. Enter the amount you would like to withdraw.
    • If you would like your withdrawal to be processed using our Near-Instant Withdrawal service, tick the Near-Instant Withdrawal checkbox.
    • Enter a payment reference (if applicable).
    • Click Withdraw ZAR.

  7. Carefully review the withdrawal details to ensure everything is correct, then click Confirm.

  8. To authorise your withdrawal:

    If Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is enabled on your account, enter your 2FA code email One-Time PIN (OTP) when prompted.

    If 2FA is not enabled, you will receive an SMS OTP to your registered mobile number

  9. Next, click Request OTP, enter the OTP sent to your registered email address, and click Confirm.

  10. Your Withdrawal has been successfully placed.

    Once all security checks have been completed successfully, your ZAR withdrawal will be submitted for processing.

    You can monitor the status of your withdrawal from your account. A status of Processing means your withdrawal is being processed, while Completed means it has been successfully sent to the destination bank.
     

Tips and tricks when withdrawing ZAR

  • Complete your profile on the "Profile" page in order to allow you to make a withdrawal
  • ALWAYS make sure you have entered your correct banking details.
  • It is VERY IMPORTANT to note after you click the "Update banking details" button you will have to wait 24 hours to make a withdrawal, as per our security precautions.
  • It is best to submit your withdrawal at least 30 minutes before the withdrawal time in order to ensure your withdrawal is processed.
  • We use Standard Bank to process the withdrawals.
  • ZAR withdrawal made to any other bank account other than the bank accounts we use may take up to 72 hours to be credited in your account, depending on your bank.
