How long does it take to create an AltCoinTrader account?
Creating an AltCoinTrader account takes less than 5 minutes. Once your account has been created, you can begin the verification process to unlock additional features and higher withdrawal limits.
Can I create a business or company account?
Yes. AltCoinTrader supports business and company accounts.

Can a minor create an AltCoinTrader account?
No. You must be 18 years of age or older to register and use an AltCoinTrader account.
Can I create multiple AltCoinTrader accounts?
No. Only one AltCoinTrader account may be registered per South African ID number or equivalent identification document.
Do I need to complete my personal details?
Yes. Completing your personal details is required to verify your identity (FICA verification). Once your account has been successfully verified, your withdrawal limits will be increased, and you will have access to additional account features.
What is my withdrawal limit when I create my account?
When you first create an AltCoinTrader account, it is automatically placed on Level 1 until your identity has been verified.
Level 1 accounts have a once-off withdrawal limit of R100. After your account has been successfully FICA verified, your withdrawal limits will increase according to your verification level.
